Celebrating a Major Milestone: CHOICE Inaugural Virtual Assembly
We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone for the CHOICE EU-funded project under Horizon Europe: our inaugural virtual assembly has been a resounding success!
This event marks the start of an exciting three-year journey for CHOICE EU, a Horizon Europe initiative aimed at mainstreaming Integrated Assessment Models in the food system to make impactful climate choices. Our consortium partners, a group of highly motivated and dedicated professionals, have truly set the bar high with their insightful presentations and engaging discussions. Their contributions have not only enriched our understanding but also solidified the foundation for our future endeavors.
Our goal is ambitious yet clear: to mainstream Integrated Assessment Models and significantly amplify their influence across various stakeholders. By doing so, we aim to catalyze a chain of decisions and actions that positively impact climate mitigation, especially in the food system, agriculture, and land use sectors.
A special acknowledgment goes to our coordinator, the I-SENSE Group of the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems, for hosting this successful virtual meeting. Their efforts of the coordination team have been instrumental in bringing together a diverse group of experts and facilitating a platform for fruitful discussions and knowledge exchange.
Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate our upcoming physical meet-up in Athens, Greece, where we will continue to build upon the strong momentum generated by this virtual assembly.
